    Question New to site

    Hello everyone, I am lpeacesr.
    I ordered my Motorola Droid should be getting it by Wednesday of this week.
    I do have a question. Will the OS 2.1 already be on my new droid?

    Welcome! And, if it is, I'll kill you! Haha! Not really, but the update hasn't come to our phones yet, and I doubt they'll sell a phone with that version without at least STARTING the update to existing phones.

    Patience. You'll have enough to play with and explore when the phone comes, then you can worry about 2.1.

    [My advice if you can't wait, find the thread about the Gallery from 2.1. It's MUCH more pretty than the one it comes with, and is IMO the best part that I've seen about 2.1]

    But to answer your question. No it will not be on your device. There is no release date or time frame when it will be released.
