About LinkBacksthis is my first time trying to root any android device, i was wondering if anyone could help me out, i tried running some one click root tools but nothing happened
i was wondering if someone would tell me what i need to do or what other programs i need in order to root my phone
any help is greatly appreciated

I don't know much about the Bionic but I will give it a shot. What do you mean nothing happened? Did the program run but not root your phone or did the program itself just not work? -

01-12-2012 09:20 PMI ran the program but before the end there was am error that said the advice didn't recognize or something along those lines
Also since its my first time rooting i have no idea what kind of programs i need to have installed on my wimdows 7 -

01-13-2012 02:22 AMDoes your PC normally recognize your phone if you plug it in? If not it may be a driver issue.

The biggest problem is that when i go on cmd, and type adb devices the serial number doesnt appear

01-13-2012 04:26 PMSometimes when having these sorts of issues the best thing to do is try another PC. You would be surprised how many times that works. If it is not recognizing your device sometimes you can get away with booting up your device while it is connected. Other then than I'm not sure what else to suggest.
