    Red face just joined!and will have lots of questions :-)

    morning peeps- i just got a droid x--- and am excited to use it...i will have LOTS OF QUESTIONS...i do have one question i have not found an answer for yet- when i set up the phone- it pulled in all my friends from facebook into my contacts ( 1,098 friends) well how do i get them off my contact list- as i will not call them :-)... i only want my own local friends on my phone( phone numbers)--- any suggestions?

    Hello and welcome!

    If you remove your facebook account thru phone settings - account & then download the facebook for android from the market, you can choose how to sync contacts...

    Another option is to go into your contacts and press menu, then select display, scroll down and look for Facebook and uncheck all contacts. At least I am pretty sure the dx has that same feature.

    tried that- and it wouldnt let me---:-(... thats why i came here and asked the question... and found the answer--- delete the email i used when setting it up-under settings- and then downloading the facebook app as a stand alone app... whoo ho--- that worked!!!
