    You can turn off the lockscreen in settings under location and security.

    hi adam, I did tha when I go to "set up lockscreen" & hit none, it goes back a screen. Nothing to check on, just goes back a screen. No options...
    This is a Samsung Captivate Glide..... Samsung stuff???
