    New Droid owner

    I'd been watching the info on the Droid for some time, and was itching for Nov 6th to roll around. I'm a software developer who's looking at writing some apps for the Droid (nothing really special currently), but I had been using an LG VX8300 phone for 4 years. I've had various PDAs, but never a smartphone.

    On Nov 6th, I took the plunge. Interestingly, my wife was along and played with the Droid in Best Buy (they had an activated model you could seriously try stuff with), and she got one too. So we're busy playing with apps from the Market, and figuring out the syncing issues, etc. Should be fun times...
