repaired a busted a955, needed a digitizer, and have just turned it on.
I am new to droid so am learning as i go.

Thanks everyone. I've been reading alot on other posts. I have an a955 that had a busted screen,so in my spare time I watched some youtube vids and bought a repacement screen, no probs I thought, but when I activated the phone the ear speaker didnt work so after some troubleshooting-factory reset- etc. I dug back into it to find that I had tore the flex cable a bit and that was most likely the problem. Not sure if dumping 40$ on top of the 28$ I already have into this is worth it. That cable seems to be EXTREMLY fragile.( I am a toolmaker not a surgeon haha) I may just wait untill another free to me parts phone becomes avalible down the road to try the repair.
