One more toe in the water and then I dive. Do I have to wipe the Operating System or will ROM Manager/Clockwork do that during the installation of the new ROM?
I think I'm gonna go with Liberty.

If you have bootstrapper, throw rom mangler out the window. You can wipe everything from clockwork![]()

And yes, you need to wipe between roms

What do I use to wipe the old ROM from the unit?
ClockworkMod. Use bootstrapper to get to recovery/ClockworkMod. You'll see the options to wipe. Rom manager is known to have issues, that why I said that.

It's been a while since I've used clockwork, so maybe Chevyboyz can help. But under the advanced options or partitions (that's where my memory fails me) there are options to wipe the dalvick cache. It's not a bad idea to do that every once in awhile. And under one of those options, I believe it's the advanced options, you can wipe the battery stats if your battery is at 100%.

Hello, Chevy. I didn't try the ROM replacement last night. It got to be too late one my Kids` homework was completed, dinner eaten, yadda, yadda...
Will most assuredly try it tonight when I get home from work.
What I was lacking were the individual steps from within ClockworkMod. I found those on one of the links yooz guys sent, so now I think I'm set.
Thanks for asking.

Oh yea its not a problem. Clockwork recovery is really user friendly. I was nervous before i flashed my first rom which was Liberty v1.0. I also did it through recovery. Once you do it for the first time and get a feel for it you will prolly catch on very quick with it. Flashing can get addictive once you start tho haha
WE DID IT!! WE DID IT!!
Got Liberty as ROM now. Feel like the king of newly conquered country. Thanks to all of you. I need to explore now. Any recommendations.
Man, this feels good.
