    New Member and New phone

    Im a new member to this forum. I have had my HTC Thunderbolt about a month now and i really wanna get the most out of it i can. I hav thought bout rooting it but to completely honest im terrified i would brick it and not really sure if it is worth it. i want to know all the tricks and little things on my droid. thanks. lookm foward to reading more forums...

    Well, first off, welcome to Droid Forums. Second, if you are willing to learn about rooting its really awesome. You shouldn't be afraid of bricking your Thunderbolt. No one has hard bricked their Thunderbolt so far (hard bricked meaning point of no return).

    well there's pros and cons to rooting. for me, it gives me full control of my phone. meaning I can add ROMs and remove them if need be. just depends what u wanna do. its not for everyone and u don't have root to customize certain things on ur phone. here's a link
