App for "Word"-like writing on Droid? Advice wanted please!

Newbie here. Hope I'm posting this in the right area. Just got my Motoroloa Droid for Xmas and have been having a ball with it.

Can one of you experts recommend an app that does basic word processing? I'm not looking for a full Word program (although if there is one I'd love to look at it or something similar) but when I'm not in the office I would like to be able to write more than notes.

What I'm really after is the ability to write a proposal or memo while I'm waiting for a meeting, then email it to myself or my secretary. I don't need spreadsheets or accounting tabs, just word processing.

There appear to be a lot of writing apps in the Marketplace but its hard to tell from the brief descriptions exactly what they do. Does such a Word-ish writing app exist? If so, what is it called? If you have used it, what do you think of it?

All advice and suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

crap you're right. my bad. i wasnt thinking. ya, its not super expensive especially for something that helpful
