Just got a droid X! stoked, but a tad overwhelmed. one specific question is whats the deal with Astro? Why do i need it and how do i use it?

Astro is like you file manager for your computer. You can see all you apps and everything in your phone and on your memory card. Might even use it to move apps if you root.

Astro is a great program! It's a file manager for your phone so that for example, if you add a custom theme or ROM to your phone, and want to verify it is on your sd card before bootstrapping and reboot, you can verify it's there. You can use it to access custom apps that you put the APK files on your sd card.

I use it also to open word docs that I need.
