No need to break-in Li-Ion batteries. Use and charge as you please. Do a full discharge and recharge once in a while to make sure battery sensor in the phone reads the battery state correctly.

Actually, that's the problem. See, android doesn't properly sense the actual life of the battery and gives incorrect readings of how much juice is left. When I first got the battery it was discharging after about 5 hours. I was really mad. To fix this though all you need to do is reboot your phone. After a reboot the battery shows about 80 to 100% again.
the battery is great and has been lasting me 2 full days with medium use and leaving it on over night. But... because you cant trust the battery meter and you always have to reset your phone, I give it a 2/5 *'s (cause you never know if the phone is actually dead, or just needs another reboot). Its an amazing product and not seidio's fault the battery meter doesn't pick up the "battery on steroids" in its holster. If there's no fix with froyo I'm gonna return and just carry around an extra battery.

Would it be possible for a coder to make an app, where you change the phone setup to calculate at a custom mAH setting

I would not be so certain about android's fault here. There are batteries that simply do not give proper information and thus no phone will be able to estimate battery life properly.

Alright guys I just got done reading the Seidio website about the battery meter and rebooting. Those have been my only quirks with it so far. I do a lot of overclocking and the temps seem to be pretty good. I like the case too. The fit is pretty good, one of the corners doesn't seat all the way on. I wouldn't be able to stand carrying around two batteries so I'm gonna rock this until I upgrade.

I do not really trust batteries coming from anyone else than the phone manufacturer themselves. Also, I do not like the idea of changing the battery so I simply bought a anyo 5000mAh Li-Ion battery booster which allows connecting up to 2 USB devices at the same time. It should give around 3 charges for the Moto.

I am still waiting for it to arrive but will report back when I get it and test it.

    i also have sanyo 5000 mAh..and thats a great portable charger...it have 5v / 1A for the output..

momax battery as far i know is wellknown aftermarket battery in hongkong..so i have planed to mix the sanyo 5000 mAh battery with the momax battery as my primary battery..keep the original battery..and will use later after momax battery become loose..

i have been research about momax battery...and below attached thread make me sure about momax battery quality..well just wait for my review later ..
