Losing my sanity - Rooting

Hi

I amtrying to root my UK 2.1 Milestone.

I have followed all instructions down to a tee.

I have installed the UK 2.1 update via RSD.

I install the vulnerable sbf.

I try to apply sdcard update.zip and I always get the same message:

E:failed to open /sdcard/update.zip(no such file or directory)
Esigniture verification failed
Installation aborted.

I honestly cannot fathom what I am doing wrong. I have done it exactly as instructed ?

It sounds like your vulnerable sbf might not be flashing for some reason.


try using open recovery instead of the root update.zip. you can find it here.

I have downloaded open recovery.

How do I go about using it is there a guide ?
