SU issue
I followed the instructions for updating to 2.1 and rooting from this thread; MILESTONE 2.1 update and root guide using the telus 2.1 sbf
when I reboot and adb into the phone and try and run 'su' it returns the following;
su: am.. Error:No such file or directory
Any thoughts on why this might be?

first type " adb shell " in the command line, then " su " once in shell
-
yes, that I know
I've had a rooted android phone in the past.

Make sure you have Debugging set Checked or it won't work...

it is, it was actually the su.apk, I neglected to look at the screen to see that it wanted to me allow access
-
haha I think I did that at first too.
