Ok I am going to be honest, I am trying to figure out what is happening or what happened that had you need to SBF but there is no details in here for that.
What is the actual problem and what are you trying to accomplish?
forget all what you read in this thread.
my problem is when i'm trying to turn on/enter recovery my phone get stuck in the white M symbol (Motorola symbol) and he is doesn't pass him.
any idea what can i do to fix it ?
When you ran RSD lite, did you get a pass or fail? Did the phone reboot on its own & did you catch the reboot by holding the D-pad up?
when i ran the RSD lite i got passed.. and i catch the reboot by holding the D-pad up.. but still stuck in boot (m symbol)
I've been in a similar situation where I couldnt get into recovery. I flashed this recovery in rsd lite to fix it: [Recovery] RZR SPR-based *update.zips-battery charging-more* The files are under the pictures at the bottom of the 1st post.
i will try this soon and tell you if it work.. thanks alot
Thanks for jumping in and helping out CJM
@ liadatz, Let us know how RZR works for you.
That link was only to get you into a recovery so you could wipe the cache & dalvick cache. Once you do that, try rebooting in android. If you get stuck again, you may have to find a rom to flash. And, tbh, I dont know where to find one for a milestone, atm. But, I'm curious if you flashed the right sbf. Are you sure its for a milestone & not for a Droid? And what model is your milestone? A853 or A854?
i have Motorola milestone A853
