But anyways, try to search the internet for "HowTo restore a bricked Milestone"
i found some in german:

The only chance so far i see, is that you push the original Milestone SBF over it again, or do a Nandroid ADB Recovery

What have you done prior to the reboot? The post that RTT linked "how to.." was composed by me, now it is in German, but google-translate should translate it ok enough for you to use it I hope?
