    I did this and it was successful but none of my apps were restored, nor the market working. the market found all the apps I had and is trying to download them but none will download. Did I mess something up?

    never mind, I got it to work. just had to delete an app and redownload it to get them all started

    If you ever have an issue like that before try clearing the market's data cache. Usually fixes things inside five minutes.
