    What is the proper syntax for phone numbers for gmail sync'ing?

    Which syntax is proper for phone numbers in gmail contacts?

    a. 1-555-555-5555
    or
    b. 555-555-5555

    My phone comes Monday and I want to get the syntax correct.

    Don't think it really matters. Mine are formatted (555) 555-5555.
