    Netiher is free anymore. They both allow a limited number of songs to be ID-ed per month and then are pay after that. Anyone who installed and used Shazam before a certain date (no idea what date it was) is grandfathered in and can use it free for unlimited IDs. I have both installed (double the free IDs!) and both work well.

    Just for information's sake I believe the date that you would need to have had shazam by (this means having used it to ID a song not only having it) was July 16th in order to have unlimited free tags

    It is free to install, but will nly allow a limited number of song IDs per month(7?) unless you buy it or are grandfathered in. SoundHound has a free version which will do the same.

    the free version only allows 5 tags a month. unlimited with the paid version.

    just purchased the paid. had the free one with unlimited tags until the update bricked my phone.

    guess i didnt want to feel limited
