    wifi tether to ipad

    Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. i've searched and can't find a solution....

    I have a rooted droid 2.2 (easy root). I'm trying to use wifi tether to my ipad, but it won't connect. I've reset the network connections. Thoughts?

    Give it a few secs after you connect it. Took about 10-15 secs after the ipad said it was connected for it to connect for me. Be patient its an apple product.

    I'm assuming you have gotten it to tether to other devices? I just tested WiFi tether with my Droid and iPad and it worked ok but I'm still on 2.1 and I used a different WiFi Tether.

    If you can't get it to work, I would recommend installing WiFi tether using these instructions: Wireless Tether Patcher - One-Click Solution - 2.x

    on our Gen 2 ipad, my wife uses Fox Fi with the add-on (LG Lucid). you have to enable the proxy and then set the ipad to that proxy address. it's all in the instructions on Fox Fi. i use the mobile hotspot in my razar maxx.
