rsd lite not recognizing my phone...?

i installed rsd lite but it won't recognize my motorola droid. i've tried searching all over the internet but cant find anything so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you downloaded and installed the motorola drivers?

yes i did my computer runs 32 bit drivers

Interesting. Because I did just one quick search on "RSD Lite Won't Recognize My Droid," and look what I found in this forum alone!

Have you went to "config", device id, first come first serve?

yep ive tried that. and i've tried the other option too and still no luck

And your running in Admin?

yeah ive seen some other people suggest that on other forums but some people said that on windows xp you don't have to do that...? im not really familiar with windows so if you could show me how to make sure i am thatd be great

Yea if your on xp you dont have to worry about it. Man I don't know what to tell you, best thing you can do is read, and see what other people have done. I know there quite a few different little things people have done to get it working, I guess I was just lucky when I rooted my phone, because it worked the first time.
