    Navigation

Is there a way to just turn on navigation without a location? So it just shows you driving along without recalculating or showing the arrows to turn? Sort of like a normal GPS that will show direction and speed and just follow you.

I did a search but did not see this anywhere.

    Thanks.

Turning on Google maps will show your location with the blue arrow, but it does not give speed or heading info....IIRC.

What you're looking for is commonly referred to as a "follow me map". It's not an option in Google Maps. If it's a must-have then check out the other GPS nav apps out there for one that includes the feature.
