Storm 1 in the trash droid a keeper
What are the main problems evryone is having? I just got today and I LOVE THIS DROID! PHUCKING KICKS ASS! FASSST BROWSER. I am coming off the Storm 1 and this thing is GOLD!!
I will keep mine because I have no choice. I have been on BB for last 15 years and really enjoyed my storm and storm 2. I'm having withdrawals - especially where e-mail is concerned and use of my notes in outlook. I don't have any compliants that I know won't get fixed so it's just a withdrawl issue for me. I am looking forward to the first software update.
If I didn't know that there are some competing devices purportedly coming SOON to Verizon (most notably HTC Passion) I would have no thoughts of returning the Droid. However that device interests me considerably. The timing however I fear will not work (I'll have to return the Droid before the Passion is likely to hit the ground).
i have faith that they will keep up on it it all has too much potential, and google doesnt sleep on things as much as most companies do, i was a windows mobile enthusiast seince wm2003se around the summer of 2003 till this past friday, all the lil things ive noticed ive figured out my little workaround to go with nothing show stopping as ive had with the small army of pocket pc's have my phone is the 43/09 batch maybe thats why i havent had any of the problems ive heard about the 3x/09 ones but it multitasks and looks great doing it. 2.0 has only been out 2 weeks every operating system mobile or not always has its issues out the door most that ive seen have been pretty small and with the right combination of apps the switch is easy, im not looking back one bit
A keeper for sure - past phones Kyocera 6035, 7135, Treo 650, Treo 700p, Centro, Samsung Omnia (with Spb Mobile Shell it wasn't too bad), but I must say even though I have issues with the Droid it is the best smartphone I've owned hands down, and one of the best I've tried.
Looking forward to Dec 11th update....

This phone rocks, the best i have ever had, this thing blows my traded in tour and storm 1 out of the water. The issues it does have dont bother me. I can live with out having to do battery pulls and using quick pull and waiting 6+min for the blackberrys to boot. I also had the pleasure of using the Iphone that was really nice but absolutely hate ATT. Used the omnia for 2 days and it really su*ked. I do like this more than the iphone becasue of the openness and overal functionality. Although I still use my Itouch for games, Apple has some killer games for iphone and itouch.
The Droid is defiantly a Keeper!
I discovered today that i dont need headphones with a mic, i use my regular skull candy buds and when i get a call i hear through them and speak through the regular mic. It was cool cause i Hooked this up to the aux port in our sienna and had speaker phone through my car speakers and had my droid in the car mount about 2 feet away and the peeps i was talking to had no idea i was on Speaker. Tottaly awesome.
joined AA (android anonymous). Turns out the program feeds my addiction rather than squelch it. I dont mind though
