Skype!!!!

I might be one of the very few that are excited for this, but i love it. Today it showed up on vzw's website. we should be able to download it as it is supposedly available for the droid, but its not working for me yet.

EDIT: it works if you get it from the market (its free). If you try the download link from vzw or skype's website, it doesnt work.

yea, thats what the app does.....

From what I have read, you can indeed call other skype accounts for free without using minutes. Calling a real number will use your minutes.

I been calling my son overseas and he said it's not using any credits on his side! Works great! All my contacts loaded and all is good!

very confused about skype. verizon said that I can use an international phone and call from overseas to the U.S. to a skype mobile to mobile for free, but Skype's website says that you can't use Verizon mobile out of this country.

I probably should close this thread because of the other 4 or 5 that already exist. IMHO so far Skype is #major fail.
