I may not be reading it right, but those links don't appear to be micro. Am i wrong? I saw a centon 32gb on the related link, but it doesn't say in the description it's a micro.

So long as they don't change the hardware that reads the MicroSDHC cards, then the Droid will be able to read them. You might need a driver for them, but that's easy to get and will prob be provided by Motorola or samsung (or whomever gets the new card out first).

as far as ive read you get a total of 32g. You get 16g card with the phone and can insert another 16g card right next to it if you go buy one.

My first "hard drive" was a 5.25" floppy and I know there are people here that could probably beat that.

No, You cannot insert a second card.

That slot is for a Sim and has not functionality on the Droid.

If you want to play one upmanship then I owned a unit about the size of a single bed that was fed with punch cards LOL

And yes I do know I am very old

The SDHC protocol as I said elsewhere supports up to 256gb if ever a card becomes available at that size.

Cool, I remember on my old samsung alias (which I just got rid of) it could only support 2gb even after a firmware update. Whomever said you can add a second sdcard had my hopes up (until i read the post under it) since I have an 2gb card from the alias and an 8gb card from my sirius stiletto that Im not really using.
