So I'm probably going to visit Verizon and get my Droid replaced. I bought it back in November so I'm under warranty. I have a lot of dust under the screen and the headphone jack sucks.
If I'm listening to a podcast in Google Listen and the phone is in my pants pocket just the movement of my leg makes the phone think the headphone jack has been removed and playback stops. Bumping the cord during movie/Youtube/Pandora playback makes it crackle as well.
I'm rooted with SholesMod 2.0.3 still. What's the best route to take? Just flash the 2.0.1 SBF and have a clean stock phone to return or just flash to the stock 2.0.1 rom through DMupdater and then uninstall any program that requires root access like SetCPU?
I assume that after I get the new phone rooted and flashed to another ROM installing SetCPU will be free as it is connected to my Gmail account correct?
