Help with some overclocking issues?

Hey guys, im fairly new to the forums, but not mobile tech. Ive had my droid a little under 24 hours and already have it rooted. I want to overclock but it only allows me to overclock to 550mhz, which is the stock mhz. I want to run at about 800mhz. I have the setcpu overclock app. What should i do?

you need a rom that supports overclocking, or at the very least you need just a kernel that supports it. thats what I have, as roms are almost an entire new theme for the droid, and I like the stock theme, so I just flashed the kernel. Instructions can be found in the hacks section of the forums
