Text message forwarding questions

Is there a way to forward a whole thread of text messages, in one shot ... not just one text message at a time?

When forwarding a message (or a thread), is it possible to retain the original attribution? ... when I forward a message, the recipient sees my name as the author instead of the original author's name.

I don't believe there is a way to do that. I think it has to be done one at a time.

if you have root you could pull up the conversation and use an app to make a screenshot and send the .jpeg's to someone, might be easier..

I didn't text before I got my droid ... is this message forwarding problem unique to the droid or is it common among smartphones?
