what causes the blue square with a ? mark when trying to view certain images

I don't know what the cause of this is? is it a missing plug-in or codec. I notice it on some website images, email images, and stuff that might be trying to run flash

If you are referring to your Gmail, if there are embedded images, it won't work. The solution is to download K9 Mail app and you will be able to see them.

Flash should be available soon. Kinda sad that with everything this phone will do and the popularity of the android OS that it is taking adobe so long to release it. It works and everyone knows it works but still no release. Seems to me they have taken a bite of the "apple" and like what they tasted.

From what I understand flash 10.1 may be bundled into the 2.1 release. I will stay rooted and just flash it when I can. Are you trying to look at dirty movies LOL jk.

It shouldn't be embedded in the update it will likely be a optional download. And you do not need it to turn your phone into a handheld girlfriend. "There's an app for that"
