    WaveSecure

    Hi guys and gals

    Anyone use WaveSecure?

    Is it worth it or does it drain battery etc?

    I use it and it works great. I have not had the phone stolen so that part I did not get to test yet thankfully.
    As for battery drain I did not notice any. There was just a recent update too that added a couple more features as well.

    I deleted all my contacts and used the wave secure app to restore them and it worked great as well.

    Over all I am happy with it.

    Great App, I switched to it back in Jan and it's been exactly what they say it is.
    No battery drain here.

    No battery drain that I have noticed. Provides a warm, and free, sense of security.

    great app, won't drain your battery. Download it, set it all up, then forget about it until you need to use it.

    YES. WaveSecure is based in Singapore so every time you send a command to your phone (track, lock, etc.) it charges you 20 cents for an international text message (NOT included in unlimited text plans.)

    Luckily I figured this out early and use Mobile Defense instead. Mobile Defense doesn't let you wipe/backup data like WaveSecure, but you can track and lock remotely, as well as install it as a system app so it is not visible and not uninstallable from the phone

    thanks so much for that. really appreciate it. I can't find mobile defense on the market though?
