Horrendous download speeds everywhere!

Hi all,
I got a new droid in january and up until about 3 days ago everything was running great. Youtube was fast, pandora was fast, but recently I couldn't even get either one to work. Web pages took minutes to open and facebook took 2-3 minutes to update. I downloaded speedtest.net application and have been running the scan in different places like school on wifi, home where I always have full service, friends houses, random places and the download speeds have been varying between 43-70 KBPS while upload speeds are consistantly in the 700's. Verizon support was useless and I haven't really found anything recommended for this. The only apps I have are pandora, speed test, and a chess game. Almost full memory. Does anyone know any way to help with thid? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Didn't help. Upload speed went up some but download still sub 70kbps
