Broken Charger Slot

So recently the slot to put the charging cable in my droid is kind of loosened and broken. It very hard to actually get my droid to start charging because the cable is not stabilized in the slot and is very easy to fall off or take out. Any ideas on how I could repair this myself?

Grab a droid with a broken digitizer or something of that nature and swap bodies, or you could buy a battery only charger.

Do you still have the origional DROID? That phone is so like two years ago.

When are you due for an upgrade? If you have an upgrade available use it and don't worry about trying to fix this one.

The origional DROID we had also had that same issue and they would NOT cover it in a warranty exchange even though they knew it was an issue.

Insurance did though, for a lost phone.

That's why you pay insurance... if you have it.
