    ringtone, length of ring

So I have my ringtones folder on my sdcard and a ringtone in it. It plays the ringtone once, but that's it. No repeat. Its a. .mid file from my old phone about 1.5sec long. Shouldn't it repeat?

I asked this about two months ago and never got a good answer. My problem was just the opposite, my clip was longer and it would keep ringing sometimes past the time the phone was ringing. I even tested it at my desk to verify I wasn't crazy.

The phone is silly easy to load mp3's and such as ringtones, it just doesn't handle them well.

I settled on about 18 seconds and clipped the track for the portion I wanted.

I make most of my ringtones 20-30seconds long. It's about the length of the standard ringtones.

30 seconds is typically the maximum ring length for most carriers anyway.

Not sure why the 1.5 second MIDI ringtone isn't repeating though.
