dont really know... get ringdroid app... its free and you can cut all the songs you can cram onto your sd card into ringtones
Yeah looks like ill have to go that route.
I asked this about two months ago and never got a good answer. My problem was just the opposite, my clip was longer and it would keep ringing sometimes past the time the phone was ringing. I even tested it at my desk to verify I wasn't crazy.
The phone is silly easy to load mp3's and such as ringtones, it just doesn't handle them well.
I settled on about 18 seconds and clipped the track for the portion I wanted.
I make most of my ringtones 20-30seconds long. It's about the length of the standard ringtones.
30 seconds is typically the maximum ring length for most carriers anyway.
Not sure why the 1.5 second MIDI ringtone isn't repeating though.
