Virtual Keyboard Issue

Happy Holidays everyone!

When I touch the bottom keys of my virtual keyboard, the letters above come up. For example, when I touch the space key, "c" "v" or "b" comes up. Also, the "back key" on the front of the phone is unresponsive.

I've tried removing the battery, and have rebooted a couple of times. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Note: I'm not due for an upgrade until May 2012
