Question Rooting Motorola Droid 2.2.2 w/o USB Cable?

The title says it all. I don't have a USB cable (I use an A/C charger). Is there a method to root the phone without the USB data cable?

Thanks for the quick response. I assume this guide goes along with the file: [App] [26.04.2011][v1.2] GingerBreak APK (root for GingerBread) - xda-developers

I'll try it out and see how it goes.

Yeah. Just install it, make sure usb debugging is on, and run it.

Looks like it worked. Superuser is installed and I have read/write access to /system directory so I guess It's rooted

Now, I need to get a custom ROM to get rid of the Verizon stuff.

    Thanks for the help!
