DROID 1 switch over to at&t??

Hey wondering if any one knows off hand....I have an original Droid for I'd like to Polish up and give to my father in law who is on at&t....last year I gave my mother in law an older g1 ...and I was able to get it working for her on at&t ....but I haven't been able to find the Same type info for this Droid....anyone know if its possible?

99% sure radio in Droid will not work with at&t.

You're asking if you can get a cdma only phone to work on a gsm carrier???
