I'll try one out and see if it helps. I may also be attempting to root the phone after I do more research about it.
I did actually get rid of Advanced Task Killer a few days ago, as I suspected that it might have been part of the problem; though it seems to have actually gotten worse since then, strangely enough. I do also have Lookout, but I guess I could get rid of it. I did try without it for a while, during a test run a few months ago, but it didn't seem to change much. However, since I vet the apps I download pretty closely, I guess I don't really need it.
Checking the Battery Use menu right now, it seems fairly innocuous - Display is highest (38%), Android System next (11%), and others like Phone idle, Cell standby, and Android OS are there too. The only application on the list is Facebook at 9%. That's rather surprising, I'll go ahead and Force Stop that.
I do have many apps on the SD Card; in fact, I always try to move them over whenever possible to preserve room on the phone's internal memory. Out of curiosity, how will moving them back to the phone help? Truthfully, I'd like to avoid doing this if possible, as my phone is starting to run low on room. I also do have quite a few widgets, as I find them very helpful, but I suppose I could delete a few.
