    Thumbs down Help me get rid of this new Droid X Software

    I am facing some of the same challeneges with the new software as everyone else on here. Can someone help me revert to the old software without bricking or resetting my whole phone? Only until they work the current glitches out....

    sort but I am way behind on ashl if the technology/computer based lingo. what is froyo and sbfing?

    See this for a guide on SBFing... Complete Droid X .sbf Flashing Guide make sure to read EVERYTHING, and do it all right! You can try taking it into Verizon and see if they will roll back to froyo for you, but most likely they won't.

    Froyo was the previous version of Android before the gingerbread you have now. They are based on desert foods. Ie... eclaire, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb, ice cream sandwich, jelly bean...
