download files

I have an stock droid. I have some files in my download folder that I want to get rid of. They are named download-file-XX. The detail on it says downloadfile-XX-apk. application /apk. they are not taking up a lot of space or anything but it's so many of them if I go in my download folder it takes it a minute to come up because it has to load all these files.

I'm thinking they are coning from Dolphin maybe. Perhaps I have something set to cache to the card? It's a green/white icon with the little android peeking out a window...maybe. There are like 100 of them
