I use color note... lets ya change the color of the paper and has password protection for sensitive notes... been using it since I first got my OG DROID. Simple and easy to use....

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but I use Tasks N Todos. It syncs with my google email and is accessible on all my devices and automatically uploads after fdr or if I add it to a new device.

Well I made an app for taking notes.
If you like a clean and simple note app, you might want to give it a try.
It may not be the best choice for Dstone5553 though, since I did not yet implemented a backup and restore feature.
And if you have any ideas for improving the app just send me a message, feedback is always welcome.

after reading each and everyone of these and testing some since 11am - i seem to like the Evernote - wow.
keep in mind, i am new to notes and smartsphoes.
I use Memability for quite some time now. I've been testing all note apps I could find and Memability is the only one I really like. It's free, neat design, simple to use (no confusing features, it does what it should do), synchronizable with Google Tasks and a fantastic tool to make and manage lists as well. The hierarchical note support makes it very easy to move notes around. To me, it's one of the best app I have installed on my phone.
