Crap camera. Help me fix it please...

I don't know if I'm expecting too much from the camera or if there really is something wrong with it. When you view them full size (8MP) they are very grainy/noisy/whatever you wanna call it. Here are some samples.

My guess is you're shooting things that are too dark. The camera has to come up with light somewhere and it's using gain to do so. Just a guess though.

My camera settings are:
Picture Resolution: Widescreen
Exposure: 0

I feel like the GB update made the camera better. Loving it now and prefer it over FX camera too.

My guess is also low light or zoomed in too much.
The sensor on this camera doesn't seem to be of the low light varity.
