    cramped keyboard??

Generally speaking i am pleased with the pro. My single biggest beef is that the keyboard feels a bit cramped (to me)...

This probably has more to do with the fact i have big hands, and coming over from the droidx. In a perfect world, this device would be just a bit wider. I had both the moto q9c and q9 napoleon back in the day, and both were a bit wider (and ideal to me).

On a related note, i wish the entire device were a bit bigger (wider/taller) and thus could accommodate a larger screen.

If you needed a bigger phone, why didn't you just keep the X?? The keyboard on the Pro was the deal breaker for most (myself included).

I love the candy bar form factor. I still have the X and may toggle between devices ... or more likely i will get use to the kb on the pro.

You'll probably get used to it. The reason I picked the Droid Pro over the X or the 2 was because of the physical portrait keyboard. As much as I used the on screen with the Droid 1, yea, I got used to it to an extent. SwiftType and Swype were nice replacements, but still yearned for the real thing. It was still a pain, even after a year.

The Droid Pro keyboard feels a little tight to me too, but I feel like it takes a month with a new phone to get used to using it.

    Yep - I'm already there!
