Transfer files from Droid Pro to iPad

I'm looking into using by Pro as extra storage for my iPad (text/pdf/etc) and was wondering if anyone had had any success doing so. What I've tried to do is create a network (using a tether app), and then try to access the sd card on the phone over the "network" from my iPad, but haven't had great success. Anyone tried anything like this?

    Thanks.

I have the Bionic and want to do something similar. I'd like to transfer the music I have on the Bionic to the iPad via Bluetooth or wifi. The app called "Bump" works for contacts and pictures between android and IOS but not multimedia.
There is an app called Websharing that I have on my Bionic. It is a web based browser type app that you can use to send and receive files from a PC - gonna try that one next from the iPad using safari. I will post an update after.

No go with Websharing - works well if you want to stream from the Android to the iPad but so far I cannot download anything because it's flash based and of course apple and flash......
All that and it's a phone too!!!!

    UPDATE:

There is an app called FTPServer for Android devices. I've installed it on the last 3 droid phones to include the D1. It works like a champ. You install it, setup a username and password then you can connect to it with any FTP client. I downloaded "FTP Client Pro" for the iPad then used it to connect to the Bionic. The best way for speed purposes is to setup wifi tethering on the Android then connect to it with the iPad. Then you have a direct wifi connection between the two devices which makes the data transfer very fast.
All that and it's a phone too!!!!

In order to transfer files from Droid Pro to iPad, you need to first transfer your data to your System and then from there you could easily transfer the content to iPad. I got it figured out. I had to jailbreak the iPad and installed a Cydia app (the jailbreak app store in essence) called AirBlue. It allows for bluetooth file sharing to and from the iPad to my Droid and/or to my laptop. Thanks everyone for your help.

Hi I'm new to this but transferring files from my HTC EVO 4g to my iPad 2 is exactly what I MUST DO!
I downloaded FTPServer to my droid phone and FTP Client on my iPad like you said. I want to transfer music albums
Which are in folders on my droid to my iPad's music. If u would be so kind to tell me how to use theses seemingly complicated app interfaces to get this job done. In truth, I would love you forever. Thanks
