    Stock update

    A new update is being pushed to the Pro starting next week. Anyone wanna bet this "Security Update" will lock your bootloader?
    I'm staying away from it.

    huh? oh wow are you sure Droid Pro is gonna have a new update? and is it for Verizon or Euro?
    I just wonder where can I read this news too. Just curious.

    I wonder if I am outside USA, not using verizon, and ROOTED + CWM installed, would OTA still popups telling me the update being ready?

    Will this attempt to download and install if I'm on CM9? I know it won't work, so I'd hope it won't even try.

    I'm going to apply it because it's supposed to fix all of the issues that were introduced with the GB update. For me that means the flaky keyboard backlight and the the phone turning itself back on after I shut it down. The damn thing was on again this morning after I turned it off before going to bed last night. All this stuff started post GB.

    Anyway, is that update out already or not?

    I read couple of sites around, some said it has been out on 17th. Some said around the corner.
    Some pages even have screenshot, the file size is 19mb.

    But I have been abusing the update button for the day and yet nothing comes.

    Anyone successful would report huh?

    Also I'm curious if this update has any affect on mobile.twitter.com
    It's been displaying an older looking page, & sometimes the page is blank. Started yesterday. I'm not referring to the Droid App, the mobile website.
