Dimmed something, now some letters are too faint to see

I have a user who says "they dimmed something" and now can't read some of the letters on her screen. The only settings I could find where the screen timeout and the overall brightness. Can anyone think of what else he might have tweaked? He now says he can't find that setting he changed.

Hmm the only thing I can think of is it might on auto brightness. If its rooted then he could have lowered the brightness to 0.

Maybe the brightness was set to automatic by mistake.

Thanks guys. i'll have him try turning off auto brightness if that's on, or if he can find the setting ;-)
