    Press on the home screen, a box will appear giving you the opportunity to select from a list of things. If it is a widget you want select widget and you'll be given a list of widgets available. If it is an application, press applications and it will display the icon and application name. Select the one you want by pressing...and there you go, your selection will appear on your home screen.
