Stock SMS Not working

Hi All:

I rooted my wife's droid pro about a week ago and in the process I somehow broke the stock SMS app. She can still send and receive messages using Handcent SMS but, she would prefer to use stock. What happens when I run the app is it opens for less than a second, then closes like someone hit the home button. I have tried clearing the Dalvik cache and clearing the apps cache. Any ideas??? (she also runs GoLauncherEX instead of the stock launcher but that shouldn't matter.)

Fix permisions maybe? If not check if u have notifications on in the settings in the app

Tried that. Still does the same thing. I can't actually open the app, but checked the notification setting in the settings menu.

Well I ended up flashing her phone back to stock using RSDlite and a SBF image I found on Android Central. After flashing worked great!
