    Problems with the Google Search widget.

    My widget is constantly lagging and forcing closed. Does anybody experience this issue? Or is it just me and my wife?

    This the first time I've heard anyone complain about google search widget. I have no idea what might be causing the problem. Are you searching something on your Pro or on the web?

    If you are running Froyo remove apps from your search options and it won't lag or force close. After I upgraded to Gingerbread, I tested with apps in the search options and it works correctly.

    After removing apps from the search settings it appears to be running smoother. Ty.

    Had that problem all the time, update to Gingerbread fixed.

    Yeah I had that problem with froyo too. I didn't know what the problem was until now. But then again I'm already running Gingerbread so doesn't really affect me anymore.

    My Google search app (even without widget) FC just about every time I open it. After FC, continue w/ searches - it is fine for that search session. Hope this improves w/ GB...whenever OTA makes it to me!
