WOW!! My Camera seemed to have improved !! What happened?!

WOW!! I suddenly noticed that my camera / picture quality improved! It's still a far cry from the awesome pics I got from my BBerry Tour, but it's a GREAT improvement! Did that happen after the recent OS update? Anyone notice any changes?

Mine still looks like crap, maybe it's the lighting...not sure.

I found one trick that seems to help (or maybe it's just my imagination.....) -

When I focus on the desired object or scene, I press the camera shutter button on the screen and hold it for a few milli-seconds before letting it go. It seems to focus and auto-adjust better by doing that and my pictures weren't quite so dark and grainy. See if that helps.

Also - did you make sure to peel off the protective plastic film covering the camera view-screen on the back of the phone? It's a tiny film and easy to miss if you didn't know it was there when you first got the phone.

Lastly - try the OS update and see if that helps. I'm wondering if that helped to improve mine as well, although I can't be sure since I don't really use my camera alot now that I hate it so much.
