A verizon rep told me that i can have sims in my maxx and my bionic for the same number and both will work as long as they are not trying to register on the lte tower at the same time. Anybody else heard this or can somebody verify?

I don't think that's true. I'm pretty sure that a phone number can only be tied to one SIM card at a time.

That's what I'm thinking too. We'll see after fedex comes tomorrow. I know both will work on cdma anytime by just *228 and enter number.....the lte i doubt. But we'll see. When i had to emergency activate my d1 while my bionic was down for a defective battery it killed the bionic's sim, but that was over a year ago. Now I'm really intrigued.
You can swap one active SIM back and forth between the two, but I really don't think two separate SIM cards can be tied to the same number and operate simultaneously in both phones.

Well...you can't between razr and bionic. Razr is micro, bionic is standard....you can go bionic to razr with a sim trimmer or xacto, but not the other way.
That rep is definitely wrong - he/she must've thought you meant at different times rather than simultaneously, otherwise I'd worry about their training... Plus, which phone would get the texts? Which would receive the calls?
And grab yourself a micro to regular sim adapter off amazon for a few bucks so you can go back and forth easier!![]()

Damn. I knew you could get the trimmers but the micro to standard adapter is whats up....makes this as easy as att to switch devices.
i CAN CONFIRM 2 SIMS ON THJE SAME NUMBER WORK AS LONG as you don't turn them both on at same time.
