Sorry, I've been busy today. In root explorer, go to system/etc/init.d. select modules Timmy. Select text editor. Delete the whole echo 4 line. Then place a # in front of echo 0, echo1, echo 2, and echo 3 lines. Hit settings key and select exit and save. A modules Timmy backup should automatically be created when you save. Reboot phone. Use no frills or some other CPU monitoring app to check max CPU. Should now read 1.2 as max cpu.

Followed the instructions and no frills reports 1.25 not 1.2. Thoughts? - - - - - actually, I see now that my edits didn't stick. But I saved them in text editor.....

Well now modules Timmy still shows my edits, but no frills shows 1.25 again. WTF?

Did you reboot? Because if you did you have to set it back I believe.. sometimes no frills is wrong though.

Wait, I'm not supposed to reboot after changing modules Timmy? Deduct's instructions told me to reboot after making the edits.

Sorry after spending $4 for root explorer for this, I can't spend $2 more on setcpu just to see if it worked.
